What is an ATS?

An applicant tracking system is software employers use to collect resumes, pull out the details and search them before a recruiter reads anything.

How is my ATS score calculated?

It combines ATS parsing (40%), formatting (25%) and content (35%). With a job posting, keyword match counts for 20%. The math is fixed, so the same resume gets the same score, and a file an ATS can't read at all scores 25 at most.

Which file types can I check?

PDF, Word (.docx) and PNG, JPEG or WebP images, up to 4.5 MB, or a resume you built in Resumondo.

Can I check my resume against a job description?

Yes. Paste the posting, and the report lists the skills, tools and titles it asks for, marks the required ones, and shows which you have.

Why can a two-column resume score lower?

Some tracking systems read straight across the page and mix the columns. The checker shows you any mixed lines. Every Resumondo template, two-column ones included, is tested for this.

Does it work in other languages?

Yes. It knows the usual section headings in any language and writes its feedback in your resume's language.

Does a high score guarantee an interview?

No. Every employer sets up its tracking system differently, and a person makes the decision. The score helps you fix problems before you apply.
