Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction and acceptance

Welcome to Resumondo ("Resumondo," "we," "us" or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website and all related services. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the Resumondo website, application and all related features
  • "Content" means the resumes, cover letters and other material you create, upload or generate
  • "AI Credits" means the units that measure use of AI features such as the editor assistant, the resume checker and cover letter writing
  • "AI Resume Interview" means a voice interview with our AI resume expert that ends with a generated resume and, optionally, a cover letter
  • "Connected Assistant" means a third-party AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, that you connect to your account

3. Our service

Resumondo provides tools to create, import, improve and check resumes and cover letters, and to export them as PDFs. The Service uses AI models from third-party providers, including Anthropic and Google, to generate and improve content, to analyze resumes and to run AI resume interviews. AI is an integral part of the Service and can't be switched off.

3.1 AI limitations

  • Review all AI-generated content for accuracy before you use it
  • You are responsible for the final content of your documents and for its truthfulness
  • AI suggestions are recommendations and may contain mistakes
  • Resume checker scores are guidance based on common practice; they don't guarantee how a specific employer or applicant tracking system will treat your resume

3.2 AI resume interviews

  • An interview lasts up to 25 minutes and needs microphone access
  • An interview counts against your allowance when it starts. If it ends before a meaningful conversation took place (for example it never connected, or lasted under a minute), it is returned to your allowance automatically.
  • Interviews included in a monthly plan reset at the start of each billing period and don't carry over. Interviews included in a one-time plan and interviews you buy separately don't expire.
  • Purchased interviews are non-refundable once used

3.3 Connected assistants (ChatGPT, Claude and others)

  • Using the Service through a Connected Assistant requires a paid plan
  • Connected Assistants are operated by third parties under their own terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Anthropic. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI; Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.
  • The assistant writes the content it sends to us; you are responsible for reviewing it. We save it to your account and turn it into documents.
  • PDF links created for a Connected Assistant expire after 7 days; download them promptly
  • You can disconnect an assistant at any time on the Connect page in your account

4. Accounts

4.1 Creating an account

  • Use a valid email address you control
  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep access to your email and connected accounts secure

4.2 Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws
  • Use your account only for yourself and not share it
  • Have the necessary rights to any information you put in your documents
  • Not misuse the Service, including by attempting to break or overload it, scraping it, automating bulk activity, reselling access, or using it to create deceptive or unlawful content

5. Plans and payments

5.1 Plans

  • The Free plan, monthly subscriptions and one-time plans include the features and allowances shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase
  • All payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited)
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your account.
  • After cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • One-time ("lifetime") plans give access to the features of that plan for as long as we operate the Service, and don't renew

5.2 Fair use

  • Plans advertised with unlimited AI or unlimited documents are provided on a fair use basis, for one individual using one account for a reasonable volume of personal job applications
  • Unlimited use doesn't permit account sharing, team or agency use, resale, or bulk or automated activity
  • We may apply usage limits or review unusually high usage to protect the Service, including on plans marketed as unlimited

5.3 AI credits and AI resume interviews

  • AI credits and AI resume interviews are separate allowances
  • AI credits included in a monthly plan reset each billing period; credits you buy separately don't expire
  • Purchased credits and interviews are tied to your account and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash

5.4 Price changes

  • We may change prices. Subscribers will be told at least 30 days before a change affects them.
  • New prices apply from your next billing period
  • Promotions may be introduced or ended at our discretion

5.5 14-day money-back guarantee

Paid plans are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of that plan. The guarantee doesn't cover separate purchases of AI credits or AI resume interviews, and it doesn't limit your rights under applicable consumer law.

6. Content and data

6.1 Your content

  • You own the content you create
  • You give us a limited license to store and process it only to provide the Service
  • We do not claim ownership of your documents or personal information
  • We do not use your content to train AI models

6.2 Data protection

We process personal data in line with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy. For account information we act as data controller. You can export or delete your data at any time.

6.3 Automated processing

Our AI features generate and score content to help you present yourself professionally. They don't make legal or similarly significant decisions about you, and you can review and change everything they produce.

7. Availability

  • We aim to keep the Service available and working well
  • Maintenance, updates or third-party outages may occasionally affect access
  • We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice

8. Intellectual property

  • The Service, its design, templates and software belong to Resumondo
  • You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer the Service
  • Documents you export with our templates are yours to use for your own job applications

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is." We work hard to make it reliable and useful, but we can't guarantee specific outcomes such as interviews or job offers
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim

10. Termination

10.1 By you

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • You can delete your account at any time in Subscription & Billing; this deletes your data

10.2 By us

We may suspend or close accounts for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Fraud or abuse
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks

11. Disputes

  • We try to resolve disputes amicably first; please contact us
  • These Terms are governed by Estonian law
  • Disputes are resolved by Estonian courts, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live

12. Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted here.
  • We will notify you of significant changes by email
  • If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the Service and delete your account
  • Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms
